Blair Castle Caravan Park

Blair Castle Caravan Park is surrounded by the impressive landscapes of the Cairngorms National Park and the park offers spectacular mountain scenery combined with superb facilities along with plenty of local amenities including places to eat, shops and visitor attractions.

The holiday park centres around 9 acres of green open space, a play area and putting green, suitable for family games and a safe place for children to play. The park is also home to Segway Ecosse, providing a fun range of segway tours around the surrounding estate. Blair Castle Caravan Park was awarded AA Campsite of the Year 2017; an accolade we are enormously proud of.

For keen walkers and cyclists, there is a 50 mile network of off-road trails which can be accessed directly from the park. In addition there’s opportunities to go fishing or on a Land Rover Safari into the hills. Nature lovers will love our resident Highland cows, ducks and native red squirrels which are often seen scurrying around the campsite.

We are easy to get to too; located only 2 miles off the main A9 trunk road to Inverness. Also there are excellent transport links to the nearby historic towns of Pitlochry, Aberfeldy and Dunkeld as well as the historic village of Killiecrankie.

Tourers/Motorhomes
We can offer our guests hard standing electric and fully served pitches of various lengths, including 18-metre super-sized pitches. Several discreet chemical disposal points and a motor home waste disposal point are close by. The park’s five toilet and shower blocks are all heated, with individual cubicles, showers, baby changing facilities and dish-washing areas. There is also a laundrette on-site.

Caravan Holiday Homes
Blair Castle Caravan Park offers an amazing base for a self-catering holiday in Scotland. With the majestic Grampian Hills surrounding the park and a raft of facilities in the park, our two-bedroom and three-bedroom caravan holiday homes are an excellent choice for couples, families and friends to get away together.

Each holiday home features a full range of modern conveniences; a fully equipped kitchen, crockery, cutlery, TV and DVD player, bed linen and outdoor decking complete with patio furniture; you will not want for anything. Dog-friendly caravan holiday homes are also available so the whole family can come along.

You will also enjoy all the amenities you would associate with well-equipped four star park including a children’s play area, games room, launderette and general store, not to mention the many miles of waymarked trails on the estate, accessed from your front door. In addition, all holiday home guests enjoy free access to Blair Castle and Gardens during the period of their stay.

Camping
Located conveniently close to Pitlochry, our campsite welcomes all camping guests, we have 33 non-electric pitches and 29 electric pitches.

Our site boasts some of the best facilities you’ll find when camping in the Cairngorms National Park. We have washing up, shower and toilet facilities located conveniently close to the pitches, never more than 50 yards from your tent. Campers enjoy all the services of the park and have many miles of Atholl Estates to explore; this makes our campsite very popular with families and couples who appreciate the great outdoors.

Camping Pods
Our camping pods are the newest addition to the park and currently we have six over-looking the riverside area with beautiful views south to Tulloch Hill.

A pod offers the feeling of camping with the comfort of a solid, waterproof roof and heat! Each pod is 9ft x 15ft in size and has electric lighting, heating, electric sockets, wifi (tariff based) and a sofa bed. The sofa beds sleep two adults. Guests should bring their own bedding or sleeping bags and camping supplies. Up to two children aged under 15 can camp on the carpeted floor of the pod and we suggest bringing an inflatable mattress for comfort.

Each camping pod also has its own area for guests to sit outside and there is plenty of room in front for a barbeque, weather permitting.

Woodland Lodges
Our eleven woodland lodges are positioned to provide tranquil woodland escape. Each lodge has been designed in a Scandinavian style with a contemporary feel offering the opportunity for couples or families to relax and enjoy the scenery of their highland surroundings.

The one, two and three bedroom lodges sleep between two to six people in total, including babies, with the flexibility of twin rooms and an en-suite master bedroom. The spacious open plan living room comes complete with a dining area, comfortable sitting area, TV and DVD. The self-catering kitchens are fully equipped with modern appliances and the patio terraces come complete with furniture so you can relax and enjoy your meal outside.

Pet-friendly woodland lodges are also available so the whole family can come along. Free Wi-Fi is available in the lodges and you will be provided with a voucher at check in.

Blair Castle Caravan Park welcomes dogs to join you on your holiday and we ask that there is maximum two dogs per pitch provided that they are kept on short leads and supervised at all times.
