Cally Palace, on the outskirts of the pretty village of Gatehouse of Fleet on the Solway coast, is set in over 150 acres of grounds and was originally an 18th century country mansion just outside Gatehouse of Fleet but is now a wonderful hotel in south west Scotland.

Entering through the oak doors, the grandeur of the interior is immediately apparent as step back to a time of period style and elegance while enjoying all the modern comforts of a four star hotel. Two huge marble pillars frame the entrance hall which leads to the Bow Lounge with its magnificent gilt cuppola ceiling.

The hotels' 56 bedrooms combine spacious accommodation with views of the estate grounds and the Dumfries & Galloway countryside beyond. Cally Palace has its own exclusive golf course, as well as an indoor leisure complex with swimming pool, to allow you to make your stay with us as active or as relaxed as you choose.

At Cally Palace, we offer a variety of rooms to suit our guests individual preferences.

Thirty one of our fifty six bedrooms are located in the main mansion house, while the other twenty five are in our more modern Forest Wing. All rooms have comfy beds, great views, freeview television, trouser press, room service, free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee-making facilities and complimentary mineral water.

Some of our rooms have bunks or extra beds and can accommodate families with ease. For the larger family, we have a special Family Suite in the Forest Wing which has a large double en-suite room with French Doors onto a terrace that looks out onto the play area and a further separate triple bedded room with its own separate en-suite bathroom.

Our newly refurbished Forest Wing balcony rooms all enjoy great views across the gardens to the 18th green of the Cally Course. Where better to relax and soak up the atmosphere than on your very own private balcony?

All Guests have free use of the hotel leisure facilities including swimming pool and gym. A guest lift accesses all bedroom floors in the main hotel. Special offers are available all year round.

There are hundreds of acres of glorious dog walking grounds and woodland around Cally Palace, and we welcome well behaved dogs at the hotel. Most of our bedrooms are suitable for dogs but please discuss this at the time of booking. Also please note that, for the convenience of our other guests, we don’t allow dogs in the lounges or dining areas of the hotel and, in case they bark or cause damage, we prefer that they are not left unaccompanied in bedrooms. There is a small charge of £5.00 per dog per night.
