Ederline in Argyll is a working hill farm covering around 13’000 acres of stunning, breath taking scenery. The estate is made up of woodland, far reaching moors, lochs, with 22 in total all with wild brown trout which you are welcome to fish with a fly. A busy network of burns and rocky out crops which create a stunning scenery. For the lovers of the hills and long walks, Sheep Gathering is a wonderful site to watch and take part in.

Ederline is perfectly situated just off the coastal road tucked in the hills. It is a short fifteen minute drive to the coast and we are ideally situated for all the ferries. Oban port is about 45 minute drive to the north with ferries to Mull, Lismore and Colonsay. The port at Kennacraig is about 45 minute drive to the south with ferries to Islay, Jura and Gigha.

The estate has an abundance of activities such as fishing, kayaking, biking, boats and 13,000 acres to explore.

Wild life in the area is legendary, with red and roe deer, pine martens, foxes, the famous scottish wildcat, otters and red squirrels often seen. There are also regular sightings of golden eagles and ospreys which nest on the estate.

As a guest on the estate, you are welcome to wander as far as you like and explore this land of outstanding natural beauty.
