The Firs Guesthouse

Within the majestic Cairngorms National Park, The Firs is a 10 minute drive north of Pitlochry, and nestles in the quiet Highland Village of Blair Atholl. We are located 1 mile off the Perth to Inverness A9 on the edge of the spectacular wilds of the Grampian Mountains.

Kirstie and Geoff look forward to helping you enjoy this wonderful area with endless miles of mountains, lochs and glens around us. On our doorstep you will also find fairytale Blair Castle, The House of Bruar and the bustling tourist town of Pitlochry.

Be your stay short or long, we offer friendly informal hospitality and comfort as well as a varied breakfast menu based on the finest of local produce. Parking, Bike storage, drying facilities, wifi and local information, not to mention peace and quiet, are all here for you.

All of our Guesthouse rooms (Superior double, superior twin and doubles) are ensuite and comfortably furnished to give you the best night’s sleep and most enjoyable stay. We offer ground floor rooms and also family rooms. TV, Wi-Fi, courtesy coffee/tea tray & complimentary toiletries provided of course! We also offer discounts for bookings of more than one night.

We look forward to serving you breakfast in our bright spacious conservatory dining room. Our varied breakfast menu is freshly prepared to order and using the best of local and home-made produce – just let us know if you have any particular dietary requirements. Early breakfasts? Not a problem!

Pets – a pre-booked pet can sometimes be accepted subject to room availability. Pets cannot be left unattended in bedrooms and do not have access to public rooms. With regret, we are not able to accept pets in our self-catering accommodation.

Close to Pitlochry and just off the main Perth – Inverness road (A9) and London-Inverness railway, Blair Atholl is the perfect easy-to-reach destination for your Highland holiday. We are also an ideal central base with easy access to all the major centres.
