Gleneagles estate offers an unrivalled array of attractions that includes a five-star luxury hotel, three championship golf courses and an award-winning spa.
Known throughout the world as the host venue for the G8 summit of world leaders in 2005 and golf’s 2014 Ryder Cup, the 850-acre Gleneagles estate offers an unrivalled array of attractions that includes a five-star luxury hotel, three championship golf courses and an award-winning spa.
A stay at Gleneagles is so much more than just a room for the night - each of our bedrooms and suites offers the individuality of a boutique hotel.
From our carefully curated antiques, paintings and books, to the locally-sourced Scottish textiles, paints and fabrics, all our bedrooms and suites are completely unique. Of course, they all feature TVs, luxurious bathroom amenities, complimentary Wi-Fi, heavenly mattresses, and beautiful furnishings and décor – all the things you’d expect in a five-star country house – but it’s the wee things that make the big difference.
From our pillow menu for the perfect night’s sleep, and our tuck-boxes full of delicious Scottish treats like tablet and toffee, to the complimentary Nespresso coffee and the fresh milk delivered when you want it – it’s time to make yourself at home, soak up the luxury and get ready for your countryside adventure to begin!
Gleneagles offers some of the best fine dining experiences in Scotland, with a range of restaurants to choose from. For an unforgettable dining experience, request a table at Andrew Fairlie – the only two Michelin starred restaurant in Scotland. The Strathearn offers classic silver service with a touch of Gleneagles glamour, and the Birnam Brasserie serves French-American dishes using the finest local Scottish produce.
For drinks, the American Bar, inspired by the roaring 20s, is an elegant bar with exceptional service and cocktails. Sample some of Scotland’s best whiskies and single malts at the Century Bar, or relax at Gleneagles’ newest bar, Auchterarder 70.
At Gleneagles, guests can enjoy an extensive range of country pursuits and leisure activities, all of which take place within the estate. Our instructors are experts in their fields and take enormous pride in their work, adhering to the very highest of professional standards.
Not everyone wants to spend their time on the end of a golf club, fishing rod, gun, riding rein or falconer's glove. You can swim in one of our two pools, exercise in the gym, enjoy a sauna or indulge yourself with a treatment in The Spa.
In the hotel we are happy to accommodate dogs up to the size of a Labrador. There will be an additional room charge of £100 per dog per night, with additional dogs charged at £100 per dog per night. Your dog will be provided with a dog bed, foam duvet, plastic floor mats with two bowls and a poop scoop set. We also have kennels available on the hotel grounds which are £48 per dog per night, and each additional dog sharing a kennel is £25.
Please note: All dogs should have vaccination certificates with them and are expected to have been treated in advance for worms, fleas and kennel cough, and must have a dog registration form filled out and returned prior to arrival. Please ask resort sales to send you this form at the time of booking. Dogs are also not allowed in restaurant and bar areas.
