Kintail Lodge Hotel

We are currently undertaking a refurbishment programme to restore the hotel to its former glory with some new additions. We have designed the scheme so that half of the hotel bedrooms and the Highland Pub and Bar remain open and are unaffected by the works programme.

Our Highland Pub is popular with both locals and visitors and offers a varied menu with local produce including local venison, haddock, salmon and scallops. The upgrade to our reception area, sitting room, summer room and restaurant are scheduled to be completed and a new kitchen installed by 1st August 2020. Up until completion of our upgrade, we will be serving breakfast in our Highland Pub.

We will be operating with nine comfortable en suite bedrooms for the forthcoming season. All individually decorated to a high standard keeping the style of a traditional West Highland Hotel.

Choose from Superior King-size, Family, Double or Single Rooms, all with stunning loch or mountain views and most overlooking our glorious loch side garden.

Room facilities include digital TV, tea & coffee making facilities, internal telephone, Scottish toiletries and use of satellite Wi-Fi (high speed available for an additional charge).

We are incredibly lucky to have access to some of the finest seafood in Britain. All our menus are designed around the fresh produce that is sourced in this area, so we are able to offer wonderful fresh seafood straight from the boats, venison off the hills, local lamb and free range pork. Free range eggs come from the local farm along with home made marmalade and jam.

After a long day in the hills or on the water, why not unwind in the relaxed atmosphere of our traditional bar. The famous, spacious West Highland bar attached to the Hotel is the perfect place to meet the locals and sample the Scottish Ales & Malt Whiskies. As well as being a meeting point with fine ales and whiskies, The Kintail Bar is renowned for its bar meals, choose from fresh salmon, scallops, venison and so much more locally sourced produce.

The Hotels location makes it ideal for touring the local area of Lochalsh and the Isle of Skye, visiting Eilean Donan Castle, walking the “ Five Sisters of Kintail” munro bagging, kyaking, angling, deer stalking or even star gazing with our Dark Skies.

The Kintail Lodge Hotel provides the perfect base for outdoot activities and sports. As you would expect, being at the foot of the Five Sisters of Kintail makes the mountains extremely accessible for climbers, walkers, and trekkers. With the shores of Loch Duich a stones throw from the hotel, fishing, diving and sailing are all easy accesible.
