Lomond View Cottage

Lomond View Cottage is a fully modernised semi-detached cottage situated in an idyllic and peaceful location in the heart of The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park on the outskirts of Aberfoyle.

The cottage overlooks Ben Lomond to the north and open fields and forestry to the south. Lomond View cottage is situated off a quiet forest road and with a secure garden, is ideal for children and pets. We are a dog friendly cottage and dogs stay for free.

The cottage is appointed with all the mod cons you would expect from a 4 star cottage and off road parking is directly adjacent to the cottage. All electricity, gas, towels and linen are included in the weekly charge. (No hidden charges!).

The cottage has 2 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 4 guests. On the ground floor there is the large well equipped kitchen, open plan lounge and dining area, a twin room with south facing views over the garden and large spacious family bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. There is internet access freely available to our guests via a wireless connection.

Lomond View Cottage has a large secure south facing garden which is ideal for children and pets. There is a barbeque area with outdoor seating (BBQ provided, please bring your own charcoal) and also a large secure storage shed for your bicycles and other sporting equipment.

The holiday cottage is in The Trossachs, a perfect location for walking and cycling with 500 kilometres of tracks and paths, quite literally, on your doorstep. There is something for everybody and your four legged friends from gentle strolls in the woods to serious hill climbing and munro bagging and for cyclists, safe easy family friendly routes to extreme single track for the more serious mountain biker. Carron Valley mountain bike centre is also a short drive away.

We have a wide selection of maps, information on walks, cycle routes etc for you to read through to help plan your excursions for your holiday. Fishing, horse-riding, golfing, hill walking, Go-ape, Lake of Menteith Fisheries and water sports are all available nearby.

The village of Aberfoyle is just a short 10 min stroll away down a well lit, quiet road where you will find a supermarket (open from 8am to 10pm 7 days a week), a variety of shops, bars and restaurants to supply you with all the food, entertainment and refreshments you will need for your stay.
