Stinchar Holiday Cottages

We have three delightful holiday cottages to let in the pretty village of Colmonell in South Ayrshire. Colmonell is situated in the picturesque Stinchar valley in rural South Ayrshire, South West Scotland, about 6 miles inland from the coast at Ballantrae.

There is a hotel, the Boar’s Head, which has a public bar and restaurant. The nearest shop is in Ballantrae, or for more shops visit Girvan about 9 miles away. It is not far to the sea at Ballantrae where there is a small harbour and lovely beaches. This is where the River Stinchar flows into the sea.

The Lodge is a detached wooden chalet-style cabin situated in the middle of the village of Colmonell. It sits in a private corner on the edge of a quiet and exclusive small caravan site and commands wonderful views across the valley.

Hillview is a detached black and white cottage in the village of Colmonell, converted in 2001 from and unused building. It sits in a private garden on the edge of a quiet and exclusive small caravan site.
1 dbl bedroom : sleeps 2.

Riverview Cottage is a black and white semi detached flat in the middle of the village of Colmonell, converted in 1998 from the former village shop to form high quality holiday accommodation.
1 dbl bedroom : sleeps 2.

Broadband/WiFi is available in all cottages.

There are ample duvets, crockery, cutlery and pots and pans. Garden furniture, vacuum cleaner, electric blankets, rotary clothes drier, iron and ironing board are all provided in the cottages.
