Tappit Hoose is extremely well located, being 250 metres away from Crail Harbour. It is also only a short walk away from the shops, pubs, park and beaches.

Tappit Hoose means 'Topped House'. It is a ground floor flat hence the 'Topped'. Originally used as part of the bakery in Crail (to cool the bread) the Hoose has many a tale to tell.
