The Plough Hotel, is centrally situated within the main street of the village of Town Yetholm - seven miles south of Kelso on the B6352. This unique situation in the middle of the village, makes it the natural centre of social life and offers such comforts as a real log fire, real ales and top quality home cooking.
The Plough, in common with many of the cottages in the historic centre of Town Yetholm, is officially listed and protected as a building of architectural importance.

This picturesque area, is a magnet for hill-walkers and features such popular walking routes as St.Cuthberts Way, the Pennine Way, Kirk Yetholm to Cape Wrath and latterly the E2 - a footpath which will eventually extend over mainland Europe.
We have 5 letting bedrooms at The Plough Hotel, some en-suite and including a family room. We are a Pet Friendly Hotel. From having a bar lunch with your furry friend to having them stay over with you. They are always welcome and will often get a treat from one of the team! Dogs are welcome for £5.50 pdpn.

All food is prepared by our chef Laurence, fresh to order and he will happily discuss any specific dietary requirements you may have. Specific menus can be created for any special occasion you may be celebrating.
