The Taybank

The Taybank in Dunkeld, Perthshire has long been known for its great music & fantastic setting on the banks of the River Tay. Come and spend an afternoon or evening with a local ale or a Scottish gin in our riverside beer garden.

We have five beautifully renovated bedrooms, decorated in calming, peaceful colours, with en suite shower rooms. Room 5, with a cast-iron bathtub, is the star.

Our restaurant upstairs has amazing views out over the garden, across the Tay, to the hills. We have a sophisticated seasonal menu (changes weekly) featuring venison and beef from a local farm plus west coast oysters and langoustines. Breakfast is delivered in hampers and includes pastries from a local bakery.

The Taybank has one of Perthshire's biggest and most popular beer gardens. We have three outside seating areas one of which is right on the river. We also have our own vegetable, herb and flower garden.

Over the summer, we hold many events in the garden including regular craft markets, music events and small festivals.
