Our guest rooms are all available as doubles or twins with many enjoying views across the beautiful Clyde Countryside.

In our dining room, you will find a diverse range of dishes from the classic to contemporary to suit all palates. We offer relaxed and intimate dining in a spectacular setting overlooking the sprawling countryside of the Scottish Borders. Dishes include seafood, Mediterranean inspired food and the chef's speciality is his perfectly cooked steak. If there's something you're looking for and can't find it on the menu, our chefs will always do their best to accommodate requests. All food is sourced locally as much as possible.

Unwind in our bar area where drinks are served all day and bar snacks can be ordered if you are looking for a quick bite to eat and meals from the restaurant menu can also be ordered in the bar area. Tinto Hotel boasts a great selection of wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks to savour.

There are many beautiful walks in the local area for you and your extended family to enjoy during your stay and Tinto Hotel can recommend the best local country tracks for you to explore. One that is accessible, convenient, bracing and suitably challenging is the spectacular Tinto Hill. If you decide to aim for the summit, it is approximately a 5 mile walk with a hike of 450 metres. On a clear day you can see the lake district from stunning vantage at the top.
