Willowherb Cottage

Wiltonburn Farm offers two beautifully decorated cottages, Foxglove and Willowherb. Situated at the end of a road, they offer tranquillity without isolation. Willowherb is pet friendly.

Willowherb Cottage

This original semi-detached farm workers cottage nestles at the head of a valley which is approached along the farm road which ends at the cottages offering total peace from noise and traffic. A little stream runs in front of the cottage and there are glorious uninterrupted views of the hills and grazing stock.

The cottage retains many of the original features and has an log burning stove in the sitting room, with electric storage and panel heaters in other rooms. There is an enclosed garden with rustic picnic facilities and a barbecue. We also have a designer cashmere knitwear, art gallery and offer our guests a special discount!

Downstairs:
Sitting/dining room with colour T.V. and log stove; Kitchen/larder with electric cooker and microwave oven washing machine and tumble dryer; Small room with a double bed; Bathroom with shower, toilet and underfloor heating.

Upstairs:
Large room with a double bed; Cot available on request; Smaller bedroom with Twin beds.

Bed linen: Duvets and blankets on beds, please bring your own sheets and towels, bed linen available for hire at £5.00 per person Please advise if required.

Pets: By arrangement, please bring dog beds or blankets and do not allow on the furniture. Also please keep dogs under control and try not to let them foul near the front door or parking area. Thank you! Charge £10 per dog (max.2).

Hawick in Teviotdale is the largest of the Border towns and is internationally famous for its quality cashmere knitwear. You will find big names and small businesses whose products can be bought in the many specialists shops including Wiltonburn Country Cashmeres at Wiltonburn Farm.
